The Finlay MacDonald Band
This solo recording features Finlay MacDonald, a very accomplished piper, along with his band. Finlay plays various sets of pipes and whistles and is accompanied by guitars, drums and other instruments to form a very modern and musical sound.
The CD features various tracks of traditional and contemporary pieces including a Bulgarian set. Finlay plays at furious speeds in some of the tracks adding an exciting element to the musicality.
