This recording by Niall Matheson is a real in-sight into a piper taught and brought up in the highlands of Scotland. Niall has won many accolades in competitive piping including the Gold Medals at Oban and Inverness.
The recording features some beatifully played sets of rarely heard and self composed 2/4, 3/4, 4/4 & 6/8 Marches and Niall also paces it up with some sets of dance tunes. He also plays the Piobaireachd 'The Lament for Mary MacLeod'
