This is a studio recording by the Shotts & Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band.
Under the long time leadership of Pipe Major Robert Mathieson and Leading Drummer Jim Kilpatrick, this recording features some new compositions and arrangements for the band.
Special features include 'Piper Alpha', a tribute to the north sea oil rig disaster and also 'Theme for the Greenlands'. The recording has backing music on some tracks.
