This recording of the Scottish Power Pipe Band was produced by Phil Cunningham MBE & Murray Blair

Under Pipe Major Roddy MacLeod and Leading Drummer Barry Wilson, the band have been very strong in competition for many years. This band has had a long and colourful history under several names and has had great players such as P/M Roddy MacLeod, Willie McCallum, Angus MacDonald, Gordon Walker, Alex Duthart, Eric Ward and many many others amongst its ranks.

This studio recording contains some really interesting and musical tracks and includes a backing group and singer Karen Matheson. A set of tunes from Asturia, the suite "Anthem" and also a very new and delightful arrangement of the ever popular "Amazing Grace".

Hopefully one of many more recordings to come from this great band!
