The Strathclyde Police Pipe Band

The most remarkable achievement in pipe band competition history was the six World Championship wins in a row by the Strathclyde Police Pipe Band from 1981 - 1986.

Under the leadership genius of Pipe Major Ian McLellan B.E.M., the band won 12 World Championships and this record will probably stand for many many years to come.
