The Polkemmet Grorud Pipe Band
During the 1980's, under the leadership of Pipe Major Robert Mathieson and Drum Major Jim Kilpatrick, the Polkemmet Grorud Pipe Band were one of the worlds top pipe bands.
Polkemmet Grorud were a very innovative pipe band and this recording set the stage for the bands success in the years following. The recording features some ground breaking tracks which became very popular amongst pipe bands for the next two decades.
