Shepherd Smallpipe Drone Reeds are specifically made Shepherd Mouthblown Scottish Smallpipes.
Fitting & Set Up Instructions
Place some hemp on each reed and fit into the reed seats securely.
The Shepherd Smallpipe Drone Reeds are very easy to set up as they are tested and set to and average setting for Shepherd Smallpipes before being packaged.
The strength and pitch adjustments can be made by moving the bridle and further very slight pitch adjustments can be made by moving the reed in or out of the reed seat.
It is important to note that it is advisable to treat the reeds very carefully and gently and to always make very small adjustments.
