Ross Bates Chanter Reeds are made by Ross Bates from Melbourne, Australia
Ross is currently the Pipe Major of the Williamstown RSL Pipe Band and formerly an integral member of the Victoria Police Pipe Band tuning team.
He has been making chanter reeds for a few years and his reeds are of the straight cut variety. They offer good consistency in volume, pitch and stability.
