The Protective Mouthpiece Guards are made from a soft plastic and are used to protect pipers teeth against the hard plastic mouthpiece and also allow the piper to gently grip the mouthpiece whilst playing.
They are very easy to fit. Measure the protective mouthpiece guard against the mouthpiece to see how much you have to work with. Simply trim one end with a sharp knife to ensure its straight. Push the protective mouthpiece guard over the mouthpiece using a piece of rubber to grip it. Then using a sharp knife trim the end flush with the mouthpiece tip. Trim it at a slight angle to ensure a comfortable feel whilst playing.
